 Learn to
Ski or Snowboard Package
Our special invitation to skiing/snowboarding is designed to make your first time on snow an experience that’s easy, fun and affordable. For beginning skiers ages 6 and up. Learn to ski/snowboard packages are offered only during the Early and Late season. Tickets for this package are purchased at the ski school counter on the lower level of the lodge.

Lessons times: 10:00 am and 11:15 am, 2:00 pm, 6:15 pm and 7:30 pm
Reservations required at least one day in advance.
1-hour group ski lesson, equipment rental and beginner ski ticket | $46
1-hour group snowboard lesson, equipment rental and beginner ski ticket | $58

Intermediate Workshops
“This is where the fun begins!” |
You can ride the chairlift, make some turns and stop but you do not feel confident. Receive individual feedback in a small group setting. Take on new challenges. Try fun drills and exercises that will help you maximize your time on the hill.
Coaches will focus on your personal goals:
- Fall less & have more Fun!
- Increase your confidence and level of efficiency
- Eliminate thigh burn
- Prepare to ski or ride at bigger areas
- Keep up with your friends or family
- Common lesson themes for skiers are: Wedge to parallel turns, pole use, developing rhythm & turn shape
- Common lesson themes for snowboarders are: Toe & heel turns and getting comfortable with linked turns in control

excited about learning. The French-Swiss Ski College at Appalachian Ski Mtn. in Blowing Rock NC is offering students the opportunity to
participate in a winter sport that will motivate them physically,
socially and psychologically.

and college
students a number of skiing and snowboarding
instructional programs.

HOME SCHOOL SKIING & SNOWBOARDING |
Snow skiing
and snowboarding are fun, lifetime activities which students are very
excited about learning. The French-Swiss Ski College at Appalachian Ski Mtn. in Blowing Rock NC is offering students the opportunity to
participate in a winter sport that will motivate them physically,
socially and psychologically.
Activities are designed for students ages 5 years or older, and for
family members who wish to participate. The following dates are
available for this special program:
One Day Program
December: 12/5, 12/14
January: 1/4, 1/18, 1/25
February: 2/8, 2/13, 2/22, 2/29
March: 3/5, 3/7, 3/12, 3/21
Slope ticket valid: 9 am-5 pm
Lesson times:
10:00 am Beginners Only
2:00 pm Intermediate Workshop
Pick one day or participate several times; 3 is the magic number for
beginners to develop a skill for life.
Two Day Program
