|
A group consists of 15 or more skiers/boarders. Ski French- Swiss has the
experience to handle groups of all sizes from small family outings to large
trips for several hundred people.
Choose a Date
Save money by skiing Monday through Friday or at night. On weekends and holidays
you can expect more people and higher prices. But, no matter when you plan your
Group Ski Holiday, French-Swiss will help you decide on specific group needs to give you the
most for your skiing dollar.
Plan Ahead for Unexpected Costs
Consider charging group members slightly more than the actual cost of the trip.
It's best to be proactive and plan for unexpected expenditures.
Set Deadlines for the Group to Turn in Money
Set deadlines that give you leeway. Collect all monies in full prior to the
trip.
Inform Your Group
Furnish phone numbers and your trip schedule to group members.
We strongly recommend that you promote lessons for your group. Taking lessons
with a qualified instructor will make their experience more enjoyable and safer.
People skiing/riding out of control may have their slope ticket taken away.
Make sure your skiers/riders know the Skiers Responsibility Code.
Know Your Sizes
If you are renting equipment you will need to know your tennis shoe size, your
height and weight. This information determines how your skis are set so that
your bindings will release properly. You should only ski on the equipment
adjusted specifically for you. This is very important for the safety of you and
your group.
Dress Right
The weather for southern skiing is very different than other areas and can change quickly. Make
sure you are prepared. Because of the cold weather, snow making, wind chill and
snow; goggles, hats and warm gloves are a necessity.
Ski bibs will not only keep you warm
but also keep you dry.
Be prepared to rent or purchase these items. Dress in
layers.
